Mixed bag

I'm still processing photos from that grey/rainy day last week. These ones have in common only that they were taken on the shore of Tyee Spit.

Mallard making her own rain.

I don't know how this happened. It's driftwood brought in at high tide.

Round peg, round hole.

"Blue bird". Havilland Turbine Otter floatplane, at its dock in the estuary.

Two distant buffleheads. Both males.

Coming up from that same walk: lichen, sparrows, gulls, etc. And it's time to go mushroom hunting again.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
