I can't identify this plant. Can you? Is it a weed, or a garden escapee?

  1. It looks a bit like Russian sage, but the leaves are more deeply cut than I am used to.

  3. I agree with Sara. Other possible is a member of the Stachys genus. I cannot tell from your photo if the stem is square.

    I vote a garden escapee like the Russian Sage or one of its kin

    love the fuzzy texture in the flower capsule.

    Bees are always a fun subject.
