Snow Day

It snowed most of the day, starting with tiny, almost dust-size flakes, ending with a fast dump of 4 or 5 inches of heavy clumps.

1:55 PM

Then it stopped, and the sun came out and melted everything it reached.

3:05 PM.

Dormant hydrangea.

  1. What a strange storm. We had the light dusting in late morning, and then nothing.

  3. Hugh; That is strange. And the local weatherpeople were in a separate world, altogether; IIRC, they promised us sunshine.

Jean; The whole area is such mixed terrain; Fraser Valley, Fraser Delta, ring of mountains, strait and islands; that crazy (and not only in weather) is the norm.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
