Green and yellow light

Sunlight and rocks by the riverside.

At river's edge, yellow reflections on the water, washed rocks in the shade.

Catching a few rays

I climbed a hill, well out of the shadows of the valley. And caught the afternoon sun picking out highlights on the moss.

Sporophites with reddish tips on a mossy mound of roadside gravel.

Glowing top on a lump of stones and cement.

Subí por un camino que me llevó por encima de las sombras del valle. Allí, donde les llegaban los rayos del sol del atardecer, los musgos brillaban como si tuvieran luces interiores.

1. Aquí elevan sus esporofitos sobre tallos verdes, adornando un montón de grava y desperdicios de la construcción del camino.
2. Estos crecen en una masa de cemento mezclado con piedras.
