Highlighting the hillsides

On a misty, grey, sunless afternoon, I took the northbound highway, checking out the yellows and oranges of the Big-leaf maples in their fall foliage. This view from is the sidehill above Brown's Bay.

Douglas-firs, red cedars, Big-leaf maples, and a few paler red alders.

Then I hiked down the hill and found mushrooms. Lots and lots of mushrooms. Photos, starting tomorrow.

Empiezo a subir esas fotos mañana.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
