Peaceful interlude

So blue! Friday afternoon, the sun was shining, the wind was behaving nicely, the water shone. I sat on a wet rock (it had rained earlier) watching a lone gull swim back and forth just off shore. Watching me watching him.

Not in any hurry. Note the reflection of the red spot on his beak.

Heading into the sunlight.

And the weather people say the sun might shine again two days this week. Looking good!

Sunset today, 4:38 PM.

  1. None of your storms are making down the coast as far as SoCal. We need some wet.

  2. Maybe if we start doing anti-rain dances up here?

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
