End of season faces

I love the flowers of autumn, browning, twisting, drooping, but still so busy working on next year's crop.

Here, a couple of sunflowers.

Standing tall, building seeds.

Zooming in a bit, to show the individual star-shaped flower husks.

Droopy petals, their work done, framing the present site of operations.

Me gustan las flores de otoño, torcidas y manchadas, dejando caer los pétalos como están, pero todavía trabajando, preparando las semillas para la primavera.

Aquí hay dos girasoles. Muy altos, aprovechando lo que queda del sol.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
