Why do they do this?

I just discovered that one of the blogs on my blog list has been hacked and harbours malware. I have removed the link to that blog and I hope no-one else has caught it from me while it was active.

The hacked blog is round rock journal dot ... (without the spaces). If you have it on your lists, it would be a good idea to delete it until Google clears it.
