Green pincushions

I've been having computer problems.  I think — I hope — I've fixed the underlying problem, but in the process, I accidentally deleted all my current photos.

I managed to restore these two: mosses on a wet cliff face beside Upper Campbell Lake.

Two mosses and a bit of Cladonia lichen.

I call this pincushion moss. Unidentified species.

I love these little, dense mounds that grow on vertical rock faces. Attempts to identify them always turn up dozens of look-alikes. So I'm content just to look and admire.

And now, if you'll excuse me, I have to hurry out to take some photos to fill my empty file folder.

No importa; estoy contenta mirando y admirándolos.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
