Last year's find, revisited

 Last summer, I found mushrooms in a planter holding a string of pearls plant. Tiny mushrooms, at the most 5 mm. tall.

This summer, there are mushrooms again in the same pot. Not the same species, but about the same size.

Little brownies

These are flat-topped, straight-stemmed, gilled mushrooms; I can see the gills on two of them in the photo. The green stem and buds are the tip of a string of pearls creeper.

The mushrooms in the same pot, the same soil, last year were like tiny chess pieces with a bulbous base and a round, acorn-shaped cap. Intriguing.

El verano pasado, en una maceta con la planta "bolitas colgantes", Curio rowleyanus, encontré unos honguitos pequeños. Muy pequeñitos; el más grande apenas medía unos 5 mm.

Este verano otra vez hay hongos en la misma maceta, con la misma tierra y planta. Pero estos no son de la misma especie, aunque también son hongos miniaturos.

Estos hongos tienen laminillas; en la foto veo dos secciones de láminas. Los somberillos son planos, los estipes derechos. Hace un año, los hongos presentes en la misma maceta, tenían la forma de piezas de ajedrez, con la base redondeada, abultada. El sombrero era una masa redonda, con la parte superior algo así como la base de una bellota.

Algo inesperado.
