Bugs and a bug

I bought a replacement for my 6-year-old computer on Saturday, and have spent the last three days arguing with it, trying to get it to work with me. Getting there. There are a few more bugs to get rid of in  the photo handling programs.

Meanwhile, here's a bug I didn't mind keeping:

Western conifer seed bug, Leptoglossus occidentalis.

He was on the wall of the Information post at Elk Falls, probably looking for a way inside. These seed bugs look for a warm spot to hole up for the winter in; human houses are favourites.

And it's raining! About time!

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
