One final look at the Willow Point low intertidal zone.
|Tide still on its way out. Logs coming in. Rocks staying put.|
There was an unusual number of logs on the move this afternoon. Many were already lying on the shore, ready to float off when the tide came in again. And the water was full of new arrivals. Washed down by a very high tide, or by a storm somewhere up the strait, maybe.
|Also staying put; a purple starfish, and a few green urchins. Waiting for the water to come back.|
Segunda foto: una estrella de mar morada y un grupo de erizos de mar verdes. Estos también se quedan donde están, esperando a que regrese el agua.
