Brown's Bay mix

Here are the last of the Brown's Bay photos, in no particular order, before I move on to something else.

Large stump in the forest. The notch part way up is where the loggers anchored a support to stand on while they cut above the wide root end of the tree.

Tiny creek tumbling down the hillside.

Out in the open, by the RV sites. One tree.

Another view from the rocks. With a boat with some sort of yellow tanks.

And one of the swallow nests I went to look for. No swallows.

I posted this swallow nest and another to the Worst Bird Photographs Facebook page, although it really shouldn't have counted: there are no birds to be seen. Just feathers. The parents were zooming back and forth, but it's probably too early for chicks.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
