Tiny creamy mushrooms

In the Oyster Bay mini-forest. The sun was shining, but not under the trees. And it was freezing cold, but that didn't seem to bother these tiny mushrooms.

Douglas fir needles, 2-3 cm long; so mushrooms are about 4-5 cm (2 inches) tall.

Check out the baby! (Between the feet of the two 'shrooms on the right.)

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
