After the rain

I awoke yesterday morning in Strathcona to the sound of a pounding rainstorm. We went out, once it had exhausted itself, to a drippy world ...

Fallen glories.

Just another droplet on the dill weed.

Holding on tight.

Beaded beauty.

Red berries.

Creamy honeysuckle. (Click on this to see the tiny hairs on the flowers.)

On the leaves of a smoke tree.

Freshly washed.

  2. But oh, did we need that rain! My garden is just sucking up all that glorious moisture (and I'm not having to stand at the other end of a hose). - Margy

  3. Margy; yes, the plants here are stretching out, turning green again. It's about time it rained!

Foo; What a nice thing to say! Made my day.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
