Creatures of the wet

Every little dip on this rainforested island is a creek. Or a swamp, or a bog. Or even a lake. I saw this no-name creek as I drove past; it runs, after a bit of winding about, into Snakehead lake.

I'll name it Snake Creek.

What's that critter hiding behind the roots?

And this creature lurks in a swamp beyond the lake.

The Sasquatch's pet?

I stayed in the car. You never know; he  might be hungry.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
