Cladonias and a bullseye

 A few more lichens:

Bronzed Pixie lichen, Cladonia gracilis

The many Cladonia species of lichen come in many forms; this tall club or cup shape with a coloured top is a common shape. But others are like strings, or bushes, or leafy scales or tangled wires. This next one is bushy, but with a grainy surface that makes it hard to see clearly.

Dragon Horn lichen, Cladonia squamosa

But, like the upright cups above, it has similar fruiting bodies; the dark spots at the tips of branches.

A larger clump of Dragon Horn

And not a Cladonia

Common bullseye lichen, Placopsis gelida

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aquí hay más líquenes: los primeros son del género Cladonia; este género viene en una multitud de formas, algunos como tazas con la copa bordeada de colores como rojo o azul, otros como arbustitos, hilos, alambres enredadas, o incluso como hojas o escamas.
El primero es el liquen "de hada bronceada"; los que siguen son "cuerno de dragón". El tercero no es Cladonia, sino otro tipo muy común, que hace placas redondas en las piedras.
I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.
Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
