Burst of colour

In my tank yesterday, enjoying the fresh, cool water from the boat launch. And waiting to be fed.

Pink-tipped green anemone family. With assorted encrusting algae, pink, green, yellow.

They've taken over the remains of a moon snail shell; crabs usually hide in the bottom. I don't know what is there in this photo; something yellowish/greenish, maybe a hermit crab.

On the bottom right, on the empty snail shell, a few orange-striped green anemones have taken up residence. These, and the pink-tipped, are extremely prolific and are gradually taking over the available territory.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
