I was running late. I didn't get started out for my Sunday afternoon drive (in the rain) until shortly after four. And by then, it was so dark that the colours had leached out of the trees. I set out with the camera, anyhow. I could at least watch tree silhouettes. And maybe see some wildlife, a deer or two, maybe.

Looking out over Menzies Bay. 4:52 The bit of colour in the foreground was from my headlights. |
As for wildlife, I saw four eagles, and a pair of moths in my headlights. No deer.
But Chia was waiting for me at home, and she's sort of wild.

They're promising us rain for the entire week. I need to get some rain gear.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.
Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
