Semi-silhouette.
A small tree by the boat ramp in Beach Grove is a favourite singing spot for sparrows. Coming and going, we hear their song, see their silhouettes against the sky. The lighting was marginally better this week.

and yes, the shock of the cold change in the weather is wearing off. I am becoming aware of my thermostat.

True. I agree the picture give a back off vibes and an icy one too. Maybe it's because of the weather. The sparrow is shivering and is in need of warmth.
