Well, the weather people were wrong. They promised three or four hours of snow, then back to normal. That was yesterday evening. It's still snowing. A light snowfall, fine, dry snowflakes, drifting gently down, eddying in a faint breeze.
I stayed home, watching the snow from my windows. Tomorrow, the snowplows will have cleared some of the streets and I'll go exploring.

Pues se equivocaban los meteorológicos. Anoche nos pronosticaron tres o cuatro horas de nieve, y luego un regreso a lo "normal". Pero sigue nevando, ahora 24 horas más tarde. Una nevada ligera; copitas finas y secas de nieve, cayendo lentamente, flotando de aquí para allá, llevadas por una brisa tenue.
Yo me quedé en casa, viéndolo por la ventana. Mañana las máquinas quitanieves habrán abierto algunas de nuestras calles y saldré a explorar.
- Mi pino araucaria, a media tarde.
- Pájaros de hierro en su pequeña fuente llena de nieve.
- Esa luz clara que trae la nieve, iluminando macetas y un elefante lleno de burbujas en mi ventana.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.
