This will be the last snow pic for this year, I think. It's warming up, and tomorrow the usual rain is supposed to be back.
In the little woods at Oyster Bay, while the snow was still deep on the meadow and dunes, in the little woods, densely treed, only a couple of inches worth had reached the ground. The trail discouraged visitors, though; overhanging branches forced me either to crouch down to waist height, or get a face and hood full of snow.

Creo que esta va a ser la última de las fotos de nieve por este año. Ya la temperatura ha subido, y para mañana y los dias en adelante los meteorológicos están prometiendo la lluvia acostumbrada.
Dentro del bosquecito en Oyster Bay, mientras la nieve seguía bastante honda sobre la pradera y las dunas, allí bajo los árboles apenas unos cuantos centímetros de nieve había logrado llegar al suelo. Sin embargo, el sendero que pasa por ese bosque no invitaba visitas; para pasar o había que agacharse bien, o recibir en la cara y dentro del capuchón una buena cantidad de nieve.
