I get impatient. The temperature barely drops below freezing and I start looking for snow, even if I have to drive for an hour or more to find it. Two years ago, minus a day, I found it coming down at Hoomak Lake, 130 km. to the north of home. (And then it rained and washed it all away.) Today, I made it to the Eve River rest area (95 km.); there was snow along the sides of the highway, but at Eve River, it started to rain, so I gave up.
But at least there was new snow on the mountain peaks.

Projected weather; freezing tonight, warmer tomorrow, and then more rain. Of course.

Me falta paciencia.

...Susannah, you found a gorgeous scene. It's raining here!
