More mushrooms

Everywhere I go these days, there are mushrooms underfoot. These were in the woods beside Oyster Bay.

A tiny, delicate beauty.

Moss, mushroom, Douglas fir cone and twigs.

Shadow of a yarrow stalk, and slug nibbles.

Douglas fir cones, twigs and needles, old and new. And a couple of mushrooms.

In a shady corner of the woods, these brown mushrooms catch a horizontal ray of the setting sun.

Brown parasols.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
