Delectable rotten eelgrass

Laurie keeps taking photos of rotten eelgrass mounds and I keep deleting them, because the stuff is just not photogenic. I had to go back to 2007 to get these two:

October, 2007. Rotten eelgrass on the shore of Boundary Bay.

Driftwood "statue" tied up in old eelgrass.

Wonderful stuff! Really. I'll explain why, tomorrow.

  1. This summer when we were boating in Bellingham Bay we came across floating mounds of the stuff, looked like a mini Sargasso Sea. - Margy

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
