Thanks, Margy!
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Thanks, Paul, Upupaepops and Louise; I am not familiar with these, (obviously!) and because they were so small, we called them chipmunks. I appreciate the correction!
Welcome to Powell River!!
ReplyDelete... not a chipmunk though, it's a Douglas Squirrel.
Yes that is a Dougie
ReplyDeleteIf you want to drive one crazy, stand near a patch of very good mushrooms. Dougies hord them and hey howdy you better not get any ideads about their 'shrooms.
But they are notoriously challenging to photograph. I bet you were near this ones mushrooms and it was not going to turn away for anything.
best-post-title-of-the-day award. =) Hee. Nice. =)
ReplyDeleteI was going to say that was a mighty funny looking chipmunk. Cute as the devil, though, chipmunk or squirrel.
ReplyDeleteNice shot of a chipmunk on top of the tree...

Glad you enjoyed the Willingdon Beach Trail. Paul often takes pictures there to share with us as well. Wish I could have been there to walk it with you. - Margy
