Merry Christmas, Susannah! Is that something making a meal out of a hapless barnacle?
Hello Wanderin' Weeta,I've fallen behind, but really want to wish you and Laurie (and all our loved ones) a beautiful Christmas! I read your blog as often as I can, and never fail to pick up absolutely fascinating titbits of information. There really is no other like it, and I look forward to having more time in a year or so to go back and explore again the posts I have in the past few months only been able to scan. There are so many that stay with me (like the seagull and the plastic bag story), but others that just touch the surface of a vast area of knowledge that waits to be discovered. Thank you!
Snail, close, but not quite. Thanks, Carol, and a very merry Christmas to you and yours, too!
Maybe a snail is morphing into a puff pastry?I really can't wait to hear the answer to this one!Merry Christmas, Susannah. Thank you for the inspiration you have been to me this past year!
A fine example of barnacle porn, maybe? Rather puts Ron Jeremy to shame...(Merry Christmas!)
Merry Christmas. Just been on the beach here in Wales - stunning day, though cold -frost on the stones. Off to see the starlings this afternoon.
I puzzled over this photo for quite a while and then decided I'll come back. It's Christmas morning, and as you say, it is close to the time I will have to put Turkey in the oven!Have a very merry Christmas day, Susannah!!
You've got it, paivi!
Oh, I was focussing on the wrong bit.!And there's a lesson in that for us all.
If your comment is on a post older than a week, it will be held for moderation. Sorry about that, but spammers seem to love old posts! Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
