At home, I cooked up a batch of rainy day soup; a hambone with a mix of veggies, beans, lentils, dried peas. Delicious!
Then, back to sorting old photos. This one, from December, two years ago, was too good to put away again, unseen. I took it at night, without flash, in a parking lot. It needed a slow shutter, and of course, my hand shook.

Got home this afternoon, the first half of the trip in pouring rain and the balance in sun/cloud/blue sky mix. Roads were good (#1/#97). Am trying to catch up on some of my blog reading!
ReplyDeleteFound out they are converting the green belt behind me into 4 lots! Can you believe it? Maybe I'll move to the city after all! That part of the green belt was part of living here!!! Greed, greed, greed.
I wanted to get to Lee Valley while at the coast but didn't make it. Sigh. I get tempted to buy too many things there so it is probably a good thing.
thanks for your helpful answer on my photo problem. I'm trying to figure out why I can't see certain ones, like this one. Did you upload it differently than the others?
ReplyDeleteEileen; greed, fueled by our "need" for ever-bigger living spaces.
ReplyDeleteCountry Mouse; I can't figure that out, either. I just checked the html on that post, compared with two others; I see no difference at all.
And no, I uploaded it the same way as all of them.
