I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.
Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!

Found one of your old posts about sea asparagus, aka salicornia. Great info, thanks. I'm going to go on a hunt for it, any suggestions on the best access point? Boundary Bay park would seem to be the best bet.

ReplyDeleteFrom Boundary Bay park at the tiny parking lot at the north end (the end of 12th Ave, follow the trail and cut across to the dunes. On the shore end of this trail, you should find some.
We also found it closer to you, on the Semiahmoo shore; park in the first (coming from the east) parking lot after the footbridge into the reserve, on Marine Drive, then follow the dyke inland to the railway bridge. Cross the bridge. Below you, on the edges of the dredged canal, there are young saltwort plants.
