I went out looking for lichens, and got a towhee as a bonus.

Salí a buscar líquenes, y me tocó recibir un premio. Un Toquí Moteado, Pipilo maculatus.
- Es un macho; la cabeza de la hembra es gris. Las manchas de blanco en el fondo es todo lo que queda de la nieve despues de dos dias de lluvia.
- Lo acompañaba su pareja, más tímida; se escondía entre los arbustos.
Y ahora me pondré a procesar fotos de líquenes.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.
