These are good guys to have around the house. They keep other critters, such as earwigs and sowbugs out. They kill the sometimes aggressive hobo spiders. The only thing that fazes them is a cellar spider, even a much smaller cellar spider; so delicate and frail-looking, yet they're able to take down another spider several times their own size.

Y aquí hay otra araña; esta es una de las arañas caseras gigantes, Eratigena duellica, un macho.
Estas son una buena especie para tener en casa. Ayudan a protegernos de otros insectos, tales como las cucarachas, las tijeretas, las cochinillas, y otros. Matan a las arañas "hobo", que son más agresivas hacia los humanos. Lo único que les espanta es una araña fólcida, siempre más pequeñas, a veces mucho más pequeñas; tan delicadas y débiles parecen, pero son capaces de matar arañas mucho más grandes que ellas mismas.
