Hangin' in there

Last flower of the year

Mum in our neighbour's garden.

Winter's here; this morning, my car was covered with thick, hard ice.

  1. in eastern Ontario, we have a look-out-for-climate-change ritual that we call "December Blooms" where we tally all the species in bloom in December. It looks like this summer was so wet, however, that everything is nearly finished in November, and we're seeing only about as many flowers as we'd often see in early December.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
