These were tiny plants, a hand's width high, hiding in the shelter of a log on the sand dunes. Higher on the shore, where there is some shade and more water, they grow taller.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.
