Just after sunset, a few hours ago, Laurie saw this:
One of the globe lights in our parking lot, with the moon behind it.
I think I want to Photoshop it.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.
Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!

Susannah,
ReplyDeleteYou sure do have a lot of very neat pictures up on your blogspot! I really like your brown moth picture in the section dated September 11, 2007. Did you or your husband take that picture? It shows the moth's eyes really well. If you or your husband did take it, can I use it in a paper I am writing about moth eyes?
Please let know.
Thanks,
Michael

Yes, I took that photo. And yes, you can use it, properly credited, of course. And, please, send me a link to the paper when it's done.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Susannah,
ReplyDeleteThank you for getting back with me so quickly and for your generosity. I appreciate it. I will gladly credit you. I will use Susannah Anderson and provide a link to your website. The paper will not be available on line so I will not be able to send you a link to it. Is that OK?
Thanks,
Michael
Ok. I would appreciate it if you let me know when and where you published it, though.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
Sure, I will let you know when it is published and where.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Michael
he he.. great shot! i see why you want to play around with it and at the same time i _love_ its sweet simplicity. a picture to remember when one is ready to go to dream land tonight.
ReplyDeleteMy document was finally published, but it turns out the document restrictions were changed and it became an internal document with limited distribution. Bummer. I would have loved to have shared it with you. That would have been fun. Thanks again for the permission to use your great moth image.
