A Pollyanna-ish* post.

One week into January, and it's still warm and raining, all up and down the coast. If the snow doesn't start building up on the mountains soon, we will have a dry, dry summer. And more forest fires.

One good thing about the weather, though. (Always look on the bright side, they say.) I bought this plant in April, last spring:
