I'd never have seen her if she hadn't been dangling an inch from my nose. I was peering through a chain-link fence when a tiny crab spider rappelled down on her silk from the top bar, and hung there, gesticulating madly at me.
I wasted a few seconds arguing with the camera; "No, not the tree! Not the rocks! The spider, you goof, the spider!" And then she dropped away.
"Hello there!" |

Total time elapsed: 5 seconds. Then I got out the other camera, set it to Macro, and went looking for her. But she was hiding on the far side of the fence by the time I got there.
Cropped 'way down. I see four eyes. And her silk thread. |

(Quinta foto.)
Foto # 6; haciendo zoom en la primera foto. Veo cuatro ojos, y su telaraña.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.
Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
