Ambition. Perhaps unrealistic.

At a pay phone outside Edgewater Motel, Campbell River:

"Come on, make that phone call!"

She hung there the whole week that we stayed. She never caught anyone. I kept the cell phone charged.

  1. Very poignant - all those unused public phone boxes nowadays.

  2. They're rare around here, now. Remnants of a day gone by, when people actually disconnected themselves from the web and teenagers didn't have a cell phone permanently attached to their ears.

  3. Great photo-journalism. Once a spider made a large web between the posts of our porch, and I came pretty close to walking straight into that one. That would have been a big catch!

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
