Cold Feet

Juncos in the snow:

Fresh snowfall.

Aren't these birds so wonderfully neat and tidy? But I do wish they would stand still every so often. Just for a change, you know?

I think I saw a peanut around here...

Junco tracks.

  1. Love the birds - they have difficulty in winter snow. We feed them all- this yr I put logs out at diff angles with brush over- they have refuge and also the seed if protected from the snow a bit. Also, seed bells and feeders. Nice pics, as usual:)

  2. Your second shot there is very nice. As you said on my blog, they're so h hard! Bouncy little bits ... and where do they go in the middle of the day? I only see them at twilight (hmm, maybe that's because it's me who isn't home in the middle of the day?)

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
