Chia. 9 weeks old, and already calling the shots. |
She's been here only two hours, and I've had to redecorate, re-organize, and share my workspace. No telling what tomorrow will bring.
Nature notes and photos from BC, Canada, mostly in the Lower Fraser Valley, Bella Coola, and Vancouver Island.
I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.
Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
My husband and I have 5 cats, so I know what you mean. They are in charge most definitely. What a sweet face - and what a good name. Chia.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous. I miss my cat Sticktail. He lived a very long life though. He lost part of his tail to a coyote before he came to adopt us in California. Does Chia have a short tail or is it just the angle of the photo? - Margy
ReplyDeleteIt's just the angle of the photo.
ReplyDeleteNOTHING more delightful than getting to know a cat
ReplyDeleteChia, a perfect name
Do we make bets on how long before you rescue her from the tank?
I think I have a couple of days before she finds her way up to it. By then, I'll have a lid on it. And a weight on the lid.
DeleteWelcome to Chia! What a cute kitty cat. She is lucky to have found such a wonderful home.
ReplyDeleteAww, your very own chia pet! More realistic than the one they sell here. http://chia.com/chia-pets/chia-pet-cuddly-kitten/
