More flyaway seeds

Just a bit more fluff:

Common sow-thistle, Sonchus oleraceus.

This is an invasive species. I found this one far from town at the entrance to a woodlot; one plant only, busy making its thousands of air-borne seeds. The provincial field guide labels it as "Noxious". I should have removed it, maybe. Would have, if I'd been able to identify it then and there. Reluctantly; it looked so cuddly.

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
