The lifeguard crew barricaded the area with overturned lounge chairs while, for a few weeks, visitors extended our necks to see the nesting mom. <br /><br />Last week, the barricade was gone, as was the mom and assumed eggs. Taped to the lifeguard station window was a picture of the mama and nearly a dozen ducklings making their way out of the shrubs and into the pool. Volunteers transported the family to a nearby pond where I'm sure they are more happy (and less chlorinated). <br /><br />It was a nice subplot to the summer.Fertanishhttp://www.fertanish.netnoreply@blogger.com
