Fisher folk at Cougar Creek Park

| Offended heron. (Aren't they all, always?) |

| Cormorant, one of a pair, coming to check us out. |
The cormorant and the mergansers are short-term visitors; the heron is a year-round resident. And the beavers are still busy, keeping the ponds deep and wide.
