Curiosity!

On Mars!

36 weeks of travel across 562 million kilometres of space travel.
And it missed its mark by a mere couple hundred metres.
Astounding!

I was in high school when the original Sputnik went up into a low earth orbit. My physics prof. told us then that we'd reached our limit; that man would never get as far as the moon. Twelve years later, men were walking around up there.

And tonight; Mars!
