Notes and photos from wanderings in the Lower Fraser Valley, BC., with a few thrown in from Bella Coola and other BC visits. Favourite spots: Reifel Island, Boundary Bay, Mud Bay, Strathcona, White Rock, Cougar Canyon, etc...
Where did the time go?
| "Amazing!" he says; "I'm gobsmacked!" (This is the strangest chickadee photo I have ever seen.) |

It is a winderful photo, you never see birds at that angle
it is a little hourglass, so perhaps appropriate. I agree where did the year get to?
Great photo! And I identify completely with the chickadee's expression and exclamation...
I thought his beak was askew, until I realized it was a sunflower seed! Happy New Year to you!
Happy New Year---God bless. I sure have enjoyed your blog this year. Thank you for adding that something to a stranger's life...
Happy New Year!
I had to laugh at what Adrian said ... I too thought his beak was a little weird ... until I realized it was a sunflower seed he was holding!!! This is a wonderful shot - I LOVE it!
